ABOUT me

I was born in 1971 near Berlin, Germany.

At the age of 14 I discovered the music of AC/DC for myself and because my father's drums were in the house, I spent the time after school drumming on "Highway To Hell". Two years later I got my first lessons at music school.

After my first band experiences, I joined the newly established band EAST BLUES EXPERIENCE in 1991. Here I was able to develop musically and I can say that the guitarist and singer Peter Schmidt had the most important influence on my musical development.

I was able to take the next big step in 2006: I got the offer to work with the band SILLY. At the beginning I was the sub, but in 2010 I became the permanent man on the drum seat.

I played as second drummer with the band KARAT from 2017 to 2022.

In addition to my live activities, working in the studio is important to me.

Working with the producer Rainer Oleak made him a mentor for me in my development in this field. Building my own studio is the result.
